Getting Started

How do I create a SyncOnCloud account?

Creating an account is simple! Click the 'Sign Up' button on our homepage, enter your email and password, and verify your email address. You'll get 5GB of free storage to start with.

What devices and platforms are supported?

SyncOnCloud works on Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, and through any web browser. Our apps are available on the App Store, Google Play, and our website for desktop downloads.

How do I upload files to SyncOnCloud?

You can upload files through our web interface by dragging and dropping, using our desktop app for automatic sync, or through our mobile apps. Files are automatically encrypted and synced across all your devices.

Can I access my files offline?

Yes! With our desktop and mobile apps, you can mark files for offline access. These files will be available even when you don't have an internet connection.

File Management

What file types are supported?

SyncOnCloud supports all file types - documents, images, videos, audio files, archives, and more. There are no restrictions on file formats, giving you complete flexibility.

Is there a file size limit?

Individual files can be up to 10GB in size for Pay-as-You-Go and Enterprise accounts. Free accounts have a 1GB per file limit. Total storage grows with your usage on paid plans.

How do I share files with others?

Right-click any file or folder and select 'Share'. You can create shareable links, invite people by email, or set specific permissions. Links can be password-protected and have expiration dates.

Can I recover deleted files?

Yes! Deleted files are kept in your trash for 30 days, allowing you to restore any accidentally deleted files.

Security & Privacy

How secure is my data?

Your data is protected with enterprise-grade AES-256 encryption both in transit and at rest. We use zero-knowledge architecture, meaning even we can't access your files without your permission.

Where are my files stored?

Your files are stored in secure, tier-4 data centers with 24/7 monitoring. You can choose your preferred geographic region for data residency compliance.

Do you scan my files?

No, we don't scan or analyze your files for advertising or data mining purposes. Your privacy is our priority, and your files remain completely private to you.

What happens if I forget my password?

You can reset your password using the 'Forgot Password' link on the login page. For security, we can't recover your password, but we'll help you create a new one.

Billing & Plans

What's included in the free plan?

The free plan includes 2GB of storage (new users only), file upload & download, basic file organization, and mobile app access. Perfect for getting started with cloud storage.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Yes! You can change your plan at any time from your account settings. Upgrades take effect immediately, and downgrades take effect at your next billing cycle.

How does the Pay-as-You-Go pricing work?

Our Pay-as-You-Go plan charges ₹50 flat for 2-10GB storage, ₹2.99 per GB for 10-110GB, and ₹1.99 per GB beyond 110GB. You're billed monthly based on your peak usage.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, and bank transfers for enterprise accounts. All payments are processed securely.

Technical Support

Why are my files not syncing?

Check your internet connection and ensure you're signed in to the same account on all devices. Restart the app if needed. Large files may take longer to sync depending on your connection speed.

Free users can access our help center and email support. Pay-as-You-Go and Enterprise users get priority support with faster response times and enhanced support options.

Is there a mobile app?

Yes! Our mobile apps are available for iOS and Android. They offer full functionality including file upload, sharing, offline access, and automatic photo backup.
